Day 1: Leh
On arrival at leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and escort you to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Meters above sea level. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Leh – Monasteries
Day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Leh – Alchi – Uleytokpo (75 Kms)
Leave for Uleytokpo camping which is one of the most beautiful camping in the Ladakh region on the way visit Spituk monastery which is just 5 kms from Leh town. Continue drive to Alchi monastery is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. By the lunch time you will reach Uleytokpo. Evening enjoy to sit on the bank of river coming down from the Ridzong side. Overnight at Camp.
Day 4: Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Leh 180 Kms
Leave Uleytokpo and continue drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi. From here another 22 Kms drive will take you to Lamayuru. The oldest and spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th Century. Visit the monastery. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh which will take about 4/5 hours drive, on the way back we stop at magnetic hill. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Leh – Khardungla Pass – Leh (85 Kms)
After breakfast full day excursion to Khardungla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Guinness Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountain. In the evening back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Leh – Delhi
Transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
Leh is a town in the Leh district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh district is the second most expensive district in the country, after Kutch in Gujarat. It was the capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, seat of which was in the Leh Palace, the former mansion of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the same style and about the same time as the Potala Palace-the chief residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to Dharamshala, India, during the 1959 Tibetan uprising. Leh is at an altitude of 3,524 metres (11,562 ft), and is connected via National Highway 1 to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway. In 2010, Leh was heavily damaged by the sudden floods caused by a cloud burst.

Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa is a Buddhist monastery, known more as a monastic complex (chos-‘khor) of temples in Alchi Village in the Leh District, of the Indian state under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of Jammu and Kashmir. The complex comprises four separate settlements in the Alchi village in the lower Ladakh region with monuments dated to different periods. Of these four hamlets, Alchi monastery is said to be the oldest and most famous. It is administered by the Likir Monastery. Alchi is also part of the three villages (all in lower Ladakh region) which constitute the ‘Alchi group of monuments’; the other two villages adjoining Alchi are the Mangyu and Sumda Chun. The monuments in these three villages are stated to be of “unique style and workmanship’, but the Alchi monastic complex is the best known.
Lamayuru or Yuru Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Lamayouro, Leh district, India. It is situated on the Srinagar-Leh highway 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of the Fotu La at a height of 3,510 metres.
Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The local pronunciation is “Khardong La” or “Khardzong La” but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies.The pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The Siachen Glacier lies part way up the latter valley. Built in 1976, it was opened to public motor vehicles in 1988 and has since seen many automobile, motorcycle and mountain biking expeditions. Maintained by the Border Roads Organisation, the pass is strategically important to India as it is used to carry supplies to the Siachen Glacier.
